The bridge is located on the river which passes through rigth in the middle of the city. Latin Bridge is known as the place where the World War I started. On 28 June 1914 a Bosnian Serb nationalist assasinated the Austrian throne, Archduke Franz Ferdinand and his pregnant wife. The brige is worth passing over and thinking about the historic events occoured there.
